Choosing the Right Real Estate Professional
My Mission Statement:
"I am committed to providing outstanding, professional service to every client and customer and to exceed their expectations."
Why have only a general service sales associate, when you can have a Full Time, Full Service Real Estate Specialist who is working to get your home SOLD!
When choosing a real estate professional, you should look for what benefits you will receive from that professional along with his or her experience, knowledge, education, assertiveness, and achievements. Here are my qualifications and the benefits you will receive when you choose me as your full service REALTOR® professional.
My diverse experience in real estate and real estate related fields will benefit both buyers and sellers. I bring a depth of knowledge in critical areas that greatly affect marketing success, competing in a challenging market, relationship building, negotiations, and most importantly the closing process – getting your transaction CLOSED with the least amount of stress!
Below is an overview of my qualifications.
Experience – Thirteen combined years of real estate related experience
Real Estate Sales
Title Escrow Closing and Pre-Closing
Relocation
Property Management
Leasing
Education:
e-PRO Technology Certified REALTOR®
Certified Home Marketing Specialist Designation - CHMS
Oakland University Graduate
Awards:
REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® of the Year
Indepth Credentials:
Real Estate Sales as a REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®: I have been a multi-million dollar producer in past challenging markets where I experienced interest rates over 12%, high inflation rates, massive unemployment, and average sale prices that were half of what they are now. I know challenging markets and this will give you an edge in our market today.
In the past, I was very active in the local board of REALTORS®. I chaired the REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® Committee, sat on the Board of Directors, and worked on many committees including Education, Grievance, Professional Standards, and MLS. Currently, I sit on the Education Committee with the North Oakland County Board of REALTORS® and was chairman of that committee in 2007.
By participating on the local Board of REALTORS®, I am able to play a role in ensuring the professionalism of myself as well as my colleagues within my chosen profession. In addition, I have established relationships with my fellow real estate agents which will give me an edge in negotiating with them when presenting offers and in bringing the transaction to a successful closing.
Title Escrow, Pre-Closing and Closing Escrow Officer: Working in Title Escrow as a Pre-Closing Specialist and an Escrow Closing Officer, I gained experience in clearing title issues, preparing real estate transactions for closing, and bringing those transactions to a successful close.
Having worked closely with many mortgage companies, I was able to build relationships with the loan officers, processors, and closers. This gives me an advantage because I am able to communicate effectively with each of these entities and can ensure that any potential issues that may hold up the closing are eliminated.
My experience as an Escrow Closing Officer will be most beneficial at the closing table. Not only am I familiar with the real estate closing documents, I am also familiar with all the mortgage documents that the buyer will be signing at closing. I am experienced at handling any issues that may arise regarding those mortgage documents. I am also able to explain, in detail, all of the items listed on the HUD Settlement Statement, so that all parties are comfortable with that document (the HUD Settlement Statement is a document that is prepared by the title company for the mortgage company, which shows the complete itemization of all buyer and seller closing charges and credits for the entire transaction).
Relocation Professional: I was a Relocation Counselor, Managed Accommodations and Leasing Director, and Property Management Coordinator at Argonaut Relocation Services (now known as GMAC Global Relocation). I had extensive experience with relocating employees in all aspects of their move whether it included leasing, selling, buying, or property management. Job relocation is one of the top three most stressful life events. My experience in this field gives me insight and empathy when working with a relocating employee.
Negotiation Expertise: This is another one of the skills that I have honed during my combined years of real estate related experience and is a significant benefit for you. Negotiation skills benefit buyers and sellers in all facets of the buying and selling process from making an offer until the final document is signed at the closing. It is the most powerful skill a real estate agent can possess!
Education: Keeping current on real estate law, ethics, marketing strategies, skill enhancements, etc. is critical for all real estate agents. Since 2005 I have completed over 110 hours of educational courses and plan to continue educating myself throughout the balance of my real estate career. This benefits my clients in all aspects of their real estate transactions, because I am knowledgeable, skilled, and professional.
